Atlas Extracts
Co-Founder, Lab Director, Head of R&D.
Atlas Extracts began as an idea in with Elevape with 2 team members a customer. Within 3 months we had cobbled together a business plan and venture capitalists ready to fund the project. My role within our small team was that of a hands-on CTO. After the initial capital investment it was my job to design and build our Lab, develop production methodologies and ensure legal compliance with state regulators for all aspects of production. I developed operating procedures for Extraction, refinement and distillation forl cannabis production. I led all experimental R&D for Products including: Full Spectrum CO2 extracts, RSO, Isolated cannabis terpenes, THC + CBD Distllate, and Water-Clear Distillate.
Elevape

Elevape was my first foray into small business. The experience taught me everything I know about managing an operation and how to fill the many roles that a required in a small business. My duties ranged from Web Development + online advertising, to legal compliance, scheduling, inventory management, promotional event planning and even basic electrical physics classes for customer safety. The Business became a staple for the Local 18-25 year old community of Vallejo, providing a free venue for local artists.
